All-on-Four Dental Implants

All-on-4 dental implants are a system of four dental implants and a denture over them. The implants are surgically placed into the jaw bone and then the teeth plate is locked into position on the implants. The teeth are permanent, can be brushed like natural teeth, do not need to be taken out, do not require adhesives, and allow the patient to eat all of the foods they like best. We have now special promotion on this permanent solution for missing teeth which costs only 3000 Euro – hotel included!

About the Procedure

Placing All-on-4 dental implants is a surgical procedure. Depending on the patient, general anesthesia may be used to achieve total unconsciousness. Some patients only require local anesthesia and/or IV sedatives to keep them pain-free and calm during the procedure. Next, diseased or infected teeth, gum tissue, or jaw bone tissue will be removed as needed. Then, titanium dental implants are placed in the jaw bone to provide anchors for the fabricated teeth plate. Incisions are sutured, and the mouth is cleaned. The patient is then moved to a room to gently wake from the anesthesia.

The patient will wear a temporary denture plate on the implants for up to 6 months while the jaws and gums heal fully around the implanted titanium screws. Once recovery is complete, a custom-fit permanent denture plate will be placed on the 4 implants. By only placing 4 implants within the bone structure, patients typically experience a shorter recovery time than traditional dental implant procedures. This procedure results in a more youthful appearance and teeth that can be used exactly like natural teeth. They can be brushed and cleaned the same ways natural teeth are. This procedure costs 3000 – 4000 Euro. The actual cost depends on various patient-specific factors.

The goal of an All-on-4 dental implant system is to provide quicker results, at lower costs, with high success rates for patients who are missing all or most of their teeth.

Recovery Notes

Following an All-on-Four dental implant procedure, patients will likely be put on an all-liquid diet until the jawbone fuses around the implants. Gradually begin to incorporate soft foods that require minimal chewing. Typically after a few weeks, most patients are able to eat bite-sized, soft foods as their jaw continues to heal.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate for the All-on-4 dental implant procedure is missing most or all of their teeth or is currently wearing dentures. Age is not a limiting factor for All-on-4 dental implants as long the candidate is in good health.

Not Recommended For

This procedure is not always the best option for people who have worn dentures for many years. Not only have they lost a significant amount of bone, but also lip and cheek support, which could make it difficult to achieve the desired aesthetic result.

Side Effects

Side effects from All-on-Four dental implants include eventual bone shrinkage in the back portion of the jaw bone. This occurs because the implants are located only in the front section of the jaw and cannot be placed in the molar areas of the mouth where the bite force is the greatest.
